Junior Structure Engineer

Job Description – Junior Structural Engineer Location: Bangalore | Sector: Property | Sub-sector: C+S (Civil & Structural) Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Junior Structural Engineer to join our Civil & Structural team in Bangalore.

The role involves supporting the design and delivery of structural engineering projects, including building structures, cross-wall systems, and other property-sector developments, while ensuring compliance with relevant design standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities Assist in structural analysis, design, and calculations for building and property-sector projects.

Prepare structural drawings, design calculations, reports, and technical documentation under the guidance of senior engineers.

Support the design of concrete, steel, and other structural systems as required by the project.

Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other multidisciplinary teams to resolve design interfaces.

Assist in reviewing drawings and technical deliverables for accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Apply relevant Indian and international structural design codes and standards, as applicable.

Support project delivery in line with agreed timelines, quality requirements, and health and safety standards.

Incorporate review comments and assist senior team members in resolving technical issues.

Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; a Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred.

Approximately 1–4 years of experience in structural engineering or building design.

Basic knowledge of structural analysis, design principles, and reinforced concrete and steel structures.

Familiarity with structural design software such as ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, or equivalent tools.

Knowledge of AutoCAD; exposure to Revit Structure or BIM workflows is an advantage.

Understanding of relevant structural design codes and standards.

Good analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
