Lead Delivery Manager

Ciklum is looking for a Lead Delivery Manager to join our team full-time in India.

About the role: We are looking for an experienced Lead Delivery Manager to lead the successful execution and delivery of large-scale technology programs within the Banking, Financial Services, and Payments domain.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing cross-functional teams, driving Agile delivery, engaging with senior stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality outcomes across complex enterprise initiatives.

The role requires a blend of delivery leadership, program governance, stakeholder management.

Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple technology projects and programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards Manage and mentor cross-functional teams comprising software engineers, QA engineers, business analysts, architects, and Scrum teams Drive Agile delivery practices, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Release Planning Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology leadership to define roadmaps, priorities, and delivery milestones Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies Establish delivery governance, reporting mechanisms, and project health metrics Ensure effective resource planning, capacity management, and utilization across programs Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and delivery excellence Coordinate with global teams and stakeholders across multiple geographies Support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and portfolio management activities Requirements: 15+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in Delivery Management, Program Management, or Project Management roles Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale applications and digital transformation initiatives Strong expertise in Agile, Scrum, and SDLC methodologies Experience managing large distributed teams and multiple concurrent workstreams Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills Strong experience in risk management, dependency management, and delivery governance Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and project management tools Exposure to cloud technologies such as Azure and/or AWS Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, release management, and modern software delivery practices Desirable: Experience working in global delivery environments Exposure to AI-enabled delivery practices and productivity tools Experience leading modernization, cloud migration, or digital transformation programs Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within the financial services industry Preferred Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) Certified Scrum Master (CSM) SAFe Agilist / SAFe Practitioner PMI-ACP or equivalent Agile certifications Key Competencies Delivery Leadership Program Governance Stakeholder Management Risk & Issue Management Resource Planning Budget & Financial Management Agile Transformation Team Leadership & Coaching Executive Communication Strategic Planning Problem Solving & Decision Making What’s in it for you?
