Salesforce Developer – Apex, LWC, REST API Integrations & Copado

Job Summary Synechron is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, develop, configure, integrate, and support scalable Salesforce solutions.

The role requires hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, REST API integrations, Salesforce security, data modeling, and DevOps practices.

The successful candidate will translate business and functional requirements into maintainable Salesforce solutions, support controlled releases, ensure code quality, and collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and external vendors.

Experience in financial services, lending, loan origination, or other regulated industries is preferred.

Software Requirements Required Salesforce development: 3–10 years of professional experience.

Apex: Hands-on experience developing scalable Salesforce functionality and reusable components.

Lightning Web Components (LWC): Experience building responsive and maintainable user interfaces.

Salesforce Flow: Experience designing and implementing automated business processes.

Platform configuration: Experience configuring standard and custom objects, fields, validation rules, workflows, permissions, and other declarative capabilities.

REST API integrations: Experience integrating Salesforce with external applications and services.

HTTP callouts and authentication: Experience implementing secure callouts and authentication mechanisms.

JSON processing: Experience handling JSON requests, responses, mappings, and transformations.

Service logging and error handling: Experience developing reliable logging and error-handling frameworks.

Salesforce data model: Understanding of standard and custom objects, relationships, data mappings, validation, synchronization logic, and data integrity.

Salesforce security model: Knowledge of sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, access controls, and governor limits.

Git: Experience with Git-based version control and source-driven development.

CI/CD and release management: Experience supporting Salesforce deployment pipelines and controlled releases.

Copado or similar Salesforce DevOps platform: Hands-on experience with deployment, release, and environment-management processes.

Testing: Experience creating unit tests, technical test cases, sandbox validations, defect fixes, and test evidence.

Preferred Visualforce: Experience developing or maintaining Visualforce components.

Experience with Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.

Experience with Salesforce Administrator certification.

Experience with Salesforce App Builder certification.

Overall Responsibilities Design, configure, develop, test, deploy, and support Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Flow, Visualforce where applicable, and declarative platform capabilities.

Build and support secure REST API integrations, HTTP callouts, authentication mechanisms, JSON processing, service logging, and error-handling frameworks.

Implement data mappings, validation rules, synchronization logic, and secure data-management patterns across standard and custom Salesforce objects.

Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, maintainable technical designs and reusable platform components.

Apply Salesforce data modeling, security, sharing, permission, and governor-limit considerations during solution design and development.

Create unit tests, technical test cases, sandbox validations, test evidence, and implementation documentation.

Troubleshoot implementation defects, integration failures, deployment issues, data problems, and production incidents.

Prepare deployment packages and promote changes through controlled Salesforce release pipelines.

Use Git, Copado or similar Salesforce DevOps platforms, and CI/CD practices to support source-driven development and reliable delivery.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, delivery teams, and external vendors.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development standards, quality expectations, security practices, and maintainability requirements.

Prepare technical documentation, implementation guides, release notes, support procedures, and knowledge-transfer materials.

Support operational stability and efficient use of platform resources through appropriate design, automation, testing, and release practices.
