As a Databricks SAP Oil Gas Manager you will lead data engineering work that designs and builds data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions for client needs within our Data and Analytics Engineering practice.

As a Manager you will motivate and develop teams, coach junior professionals, oversee workstreams, and bring practical business judgment to planning, execution, and delivery across multiple priorities.

In this role at PwC, you will help shape data infrastructure that turns raw information into usable insight, using Databricks and SAP-centered solutions to support oil and gas clients in data modernization efforts.

Responsibilities - Leading data engineering workstreams for Databricks and SAP-enabled client initiatives in oil and gas environments - Designing and developing data pipelines, integration flows, and transformation logic across cloud-based platforms - Managing project planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery timelines for multiple client engagements - Reviewing technical deliverables for data architecture, data modeling, and data quality alignment - Guiding teams in the use of Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform - Coaching team members on data engineering methods, performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting - Translating client requirements into scalable data infrastructure and warehouse solutions - Identifying opportunities to improve data validation, governance, and security practices across solution designs - Coordinating issue resolution and communicating progress, risks, and dependencies to client stakeholders - Applying knowledge of Snowflake, AWS, Hadoop, and database management systems to support modernization efforts What You Must Have - At least a Bachelor's degree - At least 8+ years of experience - Oral and written proficiency in English required What Sets You Apart - Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics - Demonstrating Databricks and SAP data modernization project leadership - Managing client-facing data engineering workstreams and timelines - Coaching teams through complex data integration and transformation - Applying oil and gas industry knowledge to analytics delivery - Using agile methods across planning, execution, and review - Translating system interactions into practical technical solutions Travel Requirements Not Specified Job Posting End Date
