Your Role: As a Global HR Compensation Analyst, you will play an important role in the operational delivery of Vanderlande's global compensation programmes across North America, EMEA, and APAC.
You will support market benchmarking, annual merit and incentive cycles, compensation reporting, Workday-related activities, and compensation data management.
By preparing and validating data, coordinating stakeholder input, and translating compensation information into clear insights, you will contribute to accurate and timely compensation decision-making.
This role combines analytical rigour with a practical continuous improvement mindset.
You will identify opportunities to simplify, standardise, and automate recurring processes, calculations, reporting, and documentation, helping create compensation processes that are efficient, controlled, and scalable.You will work closely with Total Rewards, HR Technology, Finance Shared Services, and HR stakeholders across different regions to ensure accurate and timely execution of global compensation activities.
What you will do/Key Responsibilities: Compensation Programme Delivery & Benchmarking (35%) Coordinate compensation survey participation and support global benchmarking by collecting, validating, and analysing internal and external compensation data.
Support annual merit, Short Term Incentive (STI), and Long Term Incentive (LTI) processes.
Prepare and validate data required for annual compensation cycles.
Coordinate stakeholder inputs and follow up with managers and HR stakeholders on deadlines and data quality.
Support employee letter preparation for compensation and incentive programmes.
Support the end-to-end Sales Incentive Plan process, including template preparation, target-setting inputs, evaluation, payout calculations, and letter preparation.
Support incentive accrual processes for Company Bonus, STI, Sales Incentive Plan, and Key Account Management incentive programmes in partnership with Finance Shared Services.
Data Analysis, Reporting & Workday Support (35%) Prepare compensation data, reports, and insights for Total Rewards and other HR stakeholders.
Analyse compensation data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and data quality issues.
Translate compensation findings into clear and practical information for stakeholders.
Support the creation and maintenance of Workday reports in collaboration with HR Technology.
Prepare and validate Workday upload templates for merit matrices, norm salaries, incentive targets, and other compensation data.
Ensure compensation data is accurate, complete, and appropriately validated before submission or upload.
Create and update compensation reports in partnership with HR Technology and relevant stakeholders.
Process Improvement & Automation (20%) Review compensation activities and identify opportunities to simplify, standardise, and automate recurring processes, calculations, reporting, and document preparation.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, and process controls.
Support the design, testing, and implementation of improved compensation solutions.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives involving automation, AI, and digital solutions.
Help establish scalable and consistent compensation processes across regions.
Knowledge Management & Stakeholder Support (10%) Create, update, and maintain compensation knowledge articles, process descriptions, and work instructions.
Maintain clear and accessible documentation for recurring compensation activities.
Provide support and guidance to stakeholders on compensation processes, data requirements, and reporting.
Collaborate effectively with Total Rewards, HR Technology, Finance Shared Services, and HR Service Delivery teams.
Handle confidential compensation information with appropriate discretion and sound judgement.
What you bring: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Relevant experience in Compensation, Total Rewards, HR Analytics, HR Operations, or Financial Analysis.
Experience supporting compensation cycles, incentive programmes, salary benchmarking, or compensation reporting.
Strong experience working with complex datasets, calculations, and data validation.
Experience with Workday or a comparable HR system.
Experience with process improvement or automation within an HR or financial environment.
Experience working in an international organisation is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large and sensitive datasets.
Ability to translate complex compensation data into clear and practical insights.
Independent and structured approach, with the ability to deliver recurring activities within fixed deadlines.
Strong continuous improvement mindset and affinity with automation, AI, and digital solutions.
Effective stakeholder management skills across Total Rewards, HR Technology, Finance, and HR Service Delivery.
Sound judgement when handling confidential compensation information.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
About the Team: You will report to the Global HR Specialists Lead and be part of the Global HR Specialists team within Regional HR & Global Services.
The team delivers specialist HR support across HR Technology, Learning, Service & Knowledge Management, and People Analytics, supporting approximately 10,000 employees across North America, EMEA, and APAC.
The role is based in Pune and works closely with Total Rewards, HR Technology, Finance Shared Services, and other HR stakeholders across the regions.
