As a Databricks SAP Oil and Gas Senior Manager you will lead client-facing data engineering work focused on designing and developing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions within our Data and Analytics Engineering practice.

As a Senior Manager you will lead large projects, advise on technical direction, and bring sound judgment to complex delivery challenges while coaching diverse teams and communicating clearly with stakeholders.

In this role at PwC, you will help shape data platforms that turn raw data into actionable insight, support Databricks and SAP-enabled solution design, and contribute to delivery efforts that align business needs with scalable data infrastructure.

Responsibilities - Leading Databricks and SAP data modernization workstreams for oil and gas clients, translating business needs into data engineering plans - Designing and building data pipelines, integration flows, and transformation logic across cloud data platforms - Directing data architecture decisions for data lake and data warehouse environments, including modeling, validation, and performance tuning - Coordinating delivery across teams to resolve complex data issues and keep implementation activities aligned with project goals - Applying Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, and related orchestration tools to automate data movement and scheduling - Leveraging Microsoft Azure Databricks and Snowflake to develop scalable analytics-ready data solutions - Reviewing data quality, security controls, and database administration activities to support stable production environments - Advising clients on data modernization strategies, technical tradeoffs, and migration approaches for legacy SAP and enterprise data platforms - Coaching team members through technical problem solving, issue resolution, and delivery planning in ambiguous situations - Communicating progress, risks, and recommendations clearly to technical and business stakeholders What You Must Have - At least a Bachelor's degree - At least 13+ years of experience - Oral and written proficiency in English required What Sets You Apart - Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics - Demonstrating Databricks and SAP data modernization delivery across oil and gas - Leading complex data engineering programs for client-facing transformation efforts - Applying systems thinking to uncover data architecture and pipeline opportunities - Crafting clear messages that connect technical details to business outcomes - Coaching diverse teams through ambiguity, change, and competing priorities Travel Requirements Not Specified Job Posting End Date
