Job Summary Motivated and results-oriented Instrumentation and Automation Engineer in DP.

Responsible for installation, maintenance and calibration of a wide range of instrumentation and automation systems to ensure efficient and compliant production of biopharmaceutical drug products.

This role requires a strong understanding of good manufacturing practices (GMP) and relevant industry regulations. "Roles & Responsibilities" Design, specify, and install instrumentation and automation systems for Fill-Finish operations, including filling lines, lyophilizers, washers, and other process equipment.

Develop and implement control strategies for process automation systems using PLC, DCS, and SCADA platforms.

Perform calibration, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of various instrumentation and automation equipment.

Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including calibration records, maintenance logs, and system diagrams.

Participate in project teams for capital equipment acquisition, installation, and qualification.

Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in instrumentation and automation technology relevant to the biopharmaceutical industry.

Adhere to all GMP regulations and ensure equipment operation complies with established policies and procedures.

Work collaboratively with other engineers and production personnel to optimize process performance and troubleshoot issues.

Educational qualification Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Automation, or related field) Minimum of 5-10 years of experience working with instrumentation and automation systems in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, food, or similar).

Strong understanding of PLC, DCS, and SCADA programming languages.

Experience with calibration procedures and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Excellent knowledge of GMP principles and practices.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Detail-oriented and highly organized.
