Primary Responsibilities Consistently offer a professional and friendly greeting, engaging service and warm welcome to all guest.

To ensure every guest is bid fond farewell when they depart.

To ensure all arrival reports are printed in advance before the meal periods and properly recorded for records.

Have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods Assist guests regarding food and beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way Understand shift end reports in the outlet and the POS system Understand the Server’s tasks in the outlet and perform other duties as assigned by leader.

People Management You must have very good communication and interpersonal skills.

As a Hostess in you will use your charm to carry out a natural conversation with guests without sounding scripted or intrusive.

Respond to customer queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

Ensure to attend to guest complaints, requests or inquiries regarding the food and services.

Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation with all departments of Novotel, Hyderabad to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale and guest service.

Ability to work cohesively as part of a team

Knowledge and Experience Secondary / High school education / Hotel Management Degree Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage Previous Hostess experience an asset Competencies Good communication and customer contact skills Service oriented with an eye for details Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team Self-motivated and energetic Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
